Reviews for Latest Recipe, Le Meridien Putrajaya
Review highlights
Based on 211 reviewsLatest Recipe at Le Meridien Putrajaya receives consistent praise for its diverse and well-curated buffet spread, featuring a strong selection of Japanese, Malay, Western, Chinese, and Indian cuisines. Guests often highlight the freshness of seafood and the quality of grilled meats, alongside a notable variety of desserts and beverages. Service is frequently described as attentive and efficient, contributing to an overall pleasant dining experience. While the restaurant’s pricing is considered on the higher side, many feel the quality and taste justify the cost. Some feedback points to minor issues such as limited sashimi options and occasional air conditioning discomfort, but these do not significantly detract from the generally positive reception.
Making reservations for buffet lunch was simple, no lengthy waiting time on the phone or too many questions. Table settings were adequate, and the spread was bountiful and tastefully presented. Had options of Japanese, Western, Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisine to savour. And of course fruits, local Kueh, cakes and ice cream for dessert. The service crew were excellent and responsive, unlike some places where they don't seem to see you when you want to request for something. Overall, the dining experience was made more memorable with discount given when we used our Maybank Credit Card.
It’s on Eatigo also. Went for the lunch buffet. Was pleasantly surprised by the spread. On the buffet line were sashimi, sushi (slightly different varieties than standard), seafood, korean food, salad, western food (beef, baked fish, pepperoni pizza, penne pasta, satay, chicken rice and roasted duck, chinese food, indian food (plain naan, chapati, dhall), vegetarian food (bende, long beans, mushrooms), cakes, kuih muihs, donuts, ice creams, teh tarik, coffee, soups, and chocolate fountain. Basically everything we ate. The staff were attentive and provided good service. Children spilled their chocolate dippings and the cleaners mopped the floors.
Great food, fantastic service The spread has enough to cover all types of cuisines, choices maybe not as many as some other hotel buffet but the quality and taste of the food more than makes up for it and is one of the best I’ve had The seafood was very fresh and all the grilled/roasted meats were especially tender and flavorful. The desserts were especially good, many choices and all really tasty! All staff were very attentive and friendly, and any empty plates were cleared very promptly. Highly recommended Linked to IOI City Mall so you can park in the mall
They are having promo now with discount 40% from normal price. Selection are plenty with cuisine from Japan, Malaysia and western. Too bad not much fresh selection like sashimi. The cold crab a little bit mushy while prawn was ok. A lot of beef menu. Variety of teas and coffee selection and their desserts is wonderful. Most of it are prepared in small size. There is also ice cream too which they did not label it out. Overall good place to have buffet.
Latest Recipe at Le Méridien Putrajaya offers a pleasant dining experience even though the restaurant was empty when we arrived. The staff was notably helpful in guiding us to our table, and the food and beverages were served promptly. However, the air conditioning was a bit inadequate, prompting us to change seats to find a cooler spot. Although the prices are on the higher side, the restaurant's quiet ambience makes it an ideal location for business discussions. Overall, despite minor issues, Latest Recipe provides a good environment for dining and professional meetings.
One of the best hotel breakfast buffets I ever experienced. The huge selection of different foods was eye opening. The fresh fruit was delicious and the american / english breakfast was very filling. I sampled Malaysian coffee and the freshly squeezed juice bar was a nice touch with fresh guana, watermelon and carrot juice. Highly recommended.
This has been my go-to buffet spot since 2020, and the food quality remains top-notch. There’s a fantastic variety, with Japanese, Malaysian, and Western cuisine to choose from. However, the fresh seafood selection is a bit lacking—sashimi options are minimal, the cold crab was slightly mushy, though the prawns were decent. If you love beef, you’ll find plenty of choices here. They also offer a great selection of teas and coffee, and their desserts are delightful, mostly served in small portions. The only downside? The price keeps climbing! I remember paying around RM128 on my first visit, but now it's already RM185.
